Cap'm Carronch insults

I'm on my second accension, so I do know how to get past this. However, I stepped up to the beer pong table before I meant to and it won't allow me to choose any insult. Also, I can't get out of the adventure. I've logged out and back in, tried to access another part of the game but it won't let me do anything. I choose retort and it says "What?". Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how did you overcome it? Would rollover solve this problem? Any help would be muchly appreciated. Thanks.

Nevermind that. A solution has presented itself.
