Council of Loathing problem

Everytime I log in to KoL, I get the yello exclamation points message as though there is a new quest for me. However, everytime I go see the Council, I get the "no more tasks required" message. Also, I've recently gone up a level and completed quests, so I definitely should have new ones. Anyone know why this might be happening?

Well you might need to go somewhere else for a quest, like try in the distant woods or the old man.

That happens to me too. Go to Account options, then click "Suppress Quest Nudge."
