Last time i used a toy space hemlet and astronaut pants those worked well for me but I will not be able to use them this run as I am doing OxyCore. I <3 my ghost pickle on a stick.

The Sorceress just beat me for the 9th time. I'm ready to give up on this game. It doesn't matter what I throw at her. I've got about a 7-8% chance of a successful use/cast/hit, and half that for the skeeter. I think the only way I can win is with 10,000HP. I've spent over 100,000 meat, I've tried a different outfit, I've thrown 100's of grenades, 1000's of MP worth of spells, and 3 computer mice.(LOL) Maybe, in time, I could become the richest player to have never ascended. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.

Dude, don't give up! First of all, you got it wrong. You want to be weak, cause she scales. Second of all, I don't use items; they may work for other people, but when it comes to foilable attack methods, I use spells. Third, she gets easier to beat every time you lose, so hang in there. Finally, mosquito=BAD. You want a cocoabo, or some other multi-purpose familiar, or at least one that does more than 5 damage per turn.

How I Did It Nothing particularly special, bet every little bit of info helps, right?

Level 19 Disco Bandit, 0th Ascension.

HP: 255/255, MP: 471/471
Muscle: 212 (192)
Mysticality: 204 (189)
Moxie: 401 (335)

Equipped:
Star Hat (+30 MP)
bottle-rocket crossbow (+15% Moxie)
Moxie Magnet
bullet-proof corduroys (+40 MP)
bejeweled pledge pn (+40 HP)
Ms. Accessory (+15 All)
wrench bracelet (+5 Muscle, +9 Melee)
(note: wand of nagamar only needs to be in INVENTORY, not equipped)

17 lb. Grue (leveled to 18 during fight); No Effects.

Disco Face Stab at beginning of each form, Moxious Maneuver repeatedly until dead.

THE END.

The key was this: Use moxie magnet and other items + raise moxie = a LOT of MP. Use Disco Face stab so you hit more often, and she doesn't hit at all. Moxious Maneuver does a TON of damage 200+ each hit, but it only hits about 25% of the time, so be patient and keep clicking. The Sorceress doesn't have a lot of HP, she's just slippery.

weapon of the pastalord + chopsticks + staff of the grand flambe + enchanted toothpick = 400 damage

Boosted initiative and HP up

Four turns and she's dead, first try. Boo yah.
