To make this place more active?

Firstly, just start advertising the forums more, I know that the irc is the most popular place for our users to hang out, but the forums could be a great place also. We also need to have something different or special on the forums that other forums do not offer. We have the people, we have the talent. The only question we have to solve is what are we going to do, or add to our forums to attract more users.
