Hello, and welcome! (And sorry it took me so long to see this post.)

It looks like you're a Seal Clubber. As a beginning Seal Clubber, there are two things you may want to do: raise your muscle, so you can hit harder, and raise your moxie or damage reduction, so you get hit less hard when you do get hit.

Your guild store has Blood of the Wereseal, which raises your muscle (an amount depending on the phase of the moon, but always at least 10%) for 500 meat for 10 turns. If you have the meat, you may want to look at this.

Try using a shield if you're not already; they cut down damage by an amount equal to the Damage Reduction statistic.

If you have access to the mall, wads are a good source of both turns and buffs. Twinkly wads give you 10% extra for each stat, and each elemental wad raises stats at least that much. (The stat bonuses are bigger, and they have some nice buffs, but some are more expensive.)

I might be able to help you out more if I can see what equipment you have. Feel free to reply here.

Finally - the haunted cellar is one of the harder places to go in the level 11 quest. I usually wait until I've done the others before stepping foot there.

Good luck, and hope to see you around! -Fujiko
