Titan Solo Farming - Defend North Kryta

If you're looking for some high end solo farming then here it is!

My good mate "Lady" has been clearing out the Titans in the Defend North Kryta Province for a while now and the other day took me along with us both having W/Me.

You can see in the screenshot below what skills he used (and yes that's my pretty little invinvi-monk standing next to Lady Alyss).

All you need is to have the quest Defend Denravi, or Defend North Kryta (more titans in North Kryta). If you have not finished the main story, then completed Defend Droknar's then you won't be able to do this.

The build: W/Me Illusion: 11, Inspiration 5, Strength 11+1, Tactics 7+4. Any mixture works, try to keep illusion, strength, and tactics all at 10+.

The equipment: Crimson carapace shield or Victo Bulwark are good choices, or any damage reduced while in a stance shield will do. Any sword or axe, with +% duration on enchantments is useful, or +7 armour vs elemental if not.

The important skills: Illusionary Weaponry, Healing Signet, "I Will Survive", Elemental Resistance, Dolyak Signet.

The other skills: "Watch Yourself", Distracting Blow, Leech Signet.

Method: Leave from Lion's Arch, find a group of titans. Use elemental resistance, target the Waterborne Titans first, unless there are 3+ Windborne titans, in which case target a Windborne titan. As you get to melee range, use Dolyak Signet, and I Will Survive, if you have conditions on you. Activate Illusionary Weaponry, assuming you are not in a maelstrom. Attack the titan until it dies, reactivating Elemental Resistance as you can, and Dolyak Signet, when it is recharged. Use leech signet to disrupt a spell when you can. When Illusionary Weaponry expires, this is the ideal time to heal with healing signet.
Repeat this process, making sure you always have Elemental Resistance active, and Dolyak Signet active as often as possible. Try to leave 1 Windborne Titan as the last titan to kill, because they blind and weaken you, allowing I Will Survive to give you easy healing.

With this build, you should be able to take on groups of 6 or less titans with little trouble. Groups of 10 or more will often prove fatal.
Things to note: distracting blow does not work whilst under Illusionary Weaponry, its purpose is to disrupt a troll unguent from a Wild Growth, when Illusionary weaponry has expired. Leech signet is for disrupting any skill or spell, regardless of if you are in a maelstrom or not (and has a long recharge time). Without disruption, you won't be able to kill a Wild Growth.
