Wouldn't it be nice if we could...?

Wouldn't it be nice if we could edit the color/style of our power sets/pools to better fit our characters? Wouldn't if be nice if you could have blue energy melee? Or maybe a red dark blast? Or perhaps a yellow tinted flight aura? I think that it would make the game MUCH more open ended in regards to powers. You could make the character you always wanted to by selecting the powers according to your costume and not the other way around.

I think that someone should maybe pitch that to the dev's. I would do it myselft if I had the e-mail or something.

Actually this was a plan at some point but it seems to have been dropped. Hopefully it will happen one day.

The problem is the artists. Supposedly, they are afraid we would pick ugly colors, just as so many people do with their costumes.

I suggested this idea in GameAmp too. It would be so awsome if we could do that. But you know what would be nicer?!

If we could actually costumize our powers! For instance, choose the color and type of the broad sword...have costumizable wings...costumizable crossbow etc.

But I think taht would take up too much RAM for an MMORPG.

The way I look at it, the character creator is beyond belief. Any "look" changes after that are QoL issues, which would be nice, but quite low on my list of things I want to see addressed and fixed.

Also, it's been stated that customizable power colors is something they will be working on. It's just not even on the "Tsoon" meter.

Can any1 help me? I am new to the game, and was wondering if any1 would tell me any info i would need to be the best i can be, like what combo's to use, i am not new to MMORG. So any help on what character with what powers would be best, please post or message me, i am going to hold off on making my guy until i have enough info, ty.

There is no best combination of powersets and the worst combinations can still kick serious ass if you build them well. Pick what you like. No matter what powersets you choose, there's someone around here who can help you tweak your build until it rocks.

Well atm i am a lvl 7 blaster with all fire attacks, when i reached lvl 6 i thought i picked fly but it didnt go through and i got rain of hell or someting ilke that, what is the best super power to have fly, super speed, etc...

Travel powers are up to you. Some swear by Super JUmp, others by fly.

What matters is making a character that you enjoy playing.

I have fly on my corruptor and defender, super speed on my brute, teleport on my tanker and super jump on my Dominator. It all depends on what I want the character to do.

But some suggestions. Look at the fitness pool. It will be your friend. The Stamina power helps so much once you get it since it increases your endurance recovery.

HAsten is a great power if you can fit it in. It gives you a faster recharge on all of your powers, so your better powers come up faster. As well as things like Build Up or self heals and the like.

Aside from that, learn from your experiences. I have not had a character that I have not needed to respec at least once due to a power not working the way I wanted it to. Live and learn my friend.
