Default How do I add environment maps to existing textures?

How do I add environment maps to textures that don't have them? They're not part of the .dds files (although textures that have environment maps have masking textures to control which parts have mapping).

My speculation is that somewhere are definition files that indicate which textures have such mapping, but where is this being done?

The purpose is to make the Metallic costume options look genuinely metallic. I tried modifying a texture that was already environment mapped (insectoid) by replacing parts of it with the standard tights option and the results look gratifyingly astonishing.

I wish I could help you out. I mainly find them and just use some of them. I have no idea how to actually work with the textures.
