why they say to put 5 dmg on the attacks, and can any one by any chance give me a tip how to slot the attaks of a ice/energy mele tanker ty if any one knows .

Without looking into the builder directly, I slot my EM attacks with 1 Acc 3 Dam and 2 End Reduc if I have the slots.

Slotting 5 Damage will not give a great benefit over slotting 3 since Enhancement Diversification was implemented.

If you don't know, ED is a cap that makes multiple of the same type of enhancement decrease their effectiveness so that you are unable to slot powers for little more than, lets say, double damage, or recharge time.

If you are using Sherk Silver's character builder you can see the effect of adding multiple of the same type of enhancement into the same power. Hover over the power, then slot the enhancement, then hover over another power and back to the one you just slotted. That will refresh the view and show you the new values.
