Clan Problems

So, yuo start up a clan on KoL, and you want members.

There's a number of ways of going about this, but I'm having problems.

Firstly, there's roping in friends. I have done this to some success, with my new clan, "Shore Thing" (Hehe, Blatant plug). which now has 4 members including myself. There is also advertising, a viable method in many cases, but, which leads me onto a new point.

How do you get Experienced KoLers into a clan? As level 26 with total power about 1750, I'd put myself into that bracket. The clan I have created is supposed to be a powerful clan, which, with the addition of 1 more member, would make midway up the leaderboard and thereby generate members, but its getting the members to get more members that is the problem.

So, do you get experienced KoL'ers to join a clan?

I still don't have anyone in my clan.

I can't seem to get anybody to apply, which sucks considering I already have the full clan amenities(meat tree, gym, calendar, etc.). I've thought several times about disbanding the clan, but then I would lose all of that money that I put into it, which would majorly suck. =/

I'm in a coed fraternity, and I got lots of people in my house to start playing, and then naturally they wanted to join a clan (mine). Everyone invites people they know and the clan slowly grows. We don't have a lot of experience but that's ok.
