/sigh stupid hockey mask

i have spent over 2k adventures resting and havent had the dream yet. i keep getting the bloody tooth fairy and the butterfly... is there something i should wear? can one increase their chances of dreaming? i dont get it...

Ive had the Freddy Kreuger dream about 3 times already, and I still dont have a single mask to my name. So apparently both the dream and the mask are rare. But of course, in true KoL fashion, the mask is rarer than the dream.
Damn this game and its addictive nature.

Given the 10mil+ price tag - I'm assuming its pure blind luck.

The dream is rare - and then it's even rarer that the dream drops the item.
I'm not sure if anything is needed to be equiped to even allow a chance of dropping - the people who have them arn't saying.

Nah - steaming evil was a gift to BoozerBear for fixing stuff... there only 13 of them and they never drop - you have to buy one from Boozer.

In the radio show recently added to coldfront Jick stated that the hocky mask is just an ordinary drop (allbeit a very very very rare one) as opposed to the ultra rares that have 'other limits' applied to drop frequency

Aparently it drops to newbies alot. Simply because n00bs rest far more oftern....

Well if that were the case, then resting a lot at a high level would produce one as well, would it not?

In theory yes. I am trying to rest as often as possable. to try to get one myself.
There's just so many things better to do with an adventure than spend it resting ;o)
