I'm kind of confused about clans.

What are the possible benifits of joining a clan? I've been looking up various ones posted on this site and they say they have things like Calenders, Meat Trees and a Full Gym. What do those things do? And what does it mean when it says beneath the credo box that they have ' __ bags of goodies'? Are there any other benifits to being in a clan?

Clans have many benefits... The ones you posted(gym, meat tree, calender), as well as the fact that there is a clan chest where you can add to and pull from to get or deduct your own clan karma. You can take items for quests or whatever from it. Also, there's a special chat channel just for your clan ("clan"). Also, there's the comraderie(sp?) involved in being in a clan, and you can go to war. ^_^

To answer your question about the bags, those are used to signify the wealth a clan has. You can steal these bags from other clans, and they can get stolen from you. Many bags is usually a sign of a wealthy clan. I myself just started my own clan. If you'd like to know, it's called "The... Vanguard of Loathing?", and I'm it's leader, Osiris990.

I am a clan hopper, I go from clan to clan and drop meat/items in the treasury, I usually stay just long enough for the next newbie starting clan to need some one to help them out , or I get a better offer, or I get made the right hand man. Nothing personal, If i was going to be a single clan full time, I would start my own. Besides I like helping out clans. Call me a mercernary or call me a Clan hopper, that is me.
