How do I open the Sunken Chest?

I know the answer is probably pretty easy, I've just got a bit of a mind blank going on right now. I've tried opening it while I have the crowbarrr in my inventory and with it equiped as my weapon but, obviously, that didn't work. I would appreciate any assistance.

LOL. Took you long enough. :P I'm not sure if there is a use for it... There are quite a few items in the game like that. :P

There's a use for it... try collecting some items that might go with it (again, not thinking of it as the chest you can open...)

wow...i must be really dumb. what other kind of chest could it be? why does the description say it is sealed tightly if you cant open it?

i dunno if there is a policy here against spoilers, but any clues would help...shit...i figured out the leaflet but cant figure this out, weak.
