Default What is the 668 scroll trick?

There's a section of the KOL Weekly Issue #7, under "debate" asking

Is the 668 Scroll Trick Legiotimate? [sic].

I'll bite. What is it?

There are "stat" days, where you gain 50% more of a stat depending on the phases of the moon. One of the things 668 scrolls can do is give or take away stats. The trick was to use them on "stat" days, where you would gain stats at +50% and only lose stats at the normal rate. This would cause you to climb in stats like crazy.

Jick recently removed this, which caused some complaining.
