Connection problems

Yesterday i was disconnected maybe 30 times. I know i'm not the only one. Is there some kind of server maintance going on? Or <fill in question here>? I havn't had any problems with your network till yesterday. Any info would be nice to have on what is happening.

We had several DOS attacks against Coldfront due to some folks being upset with RunUO and team. The RunUO folks have since left the IRC Network for irc.runuo.com.

Lamens terms explanation:
There was a dissatisfied RunUO user who has been making some odd demands from the devteam, basically it ended up with: either meet my demands or you'll get DDoS'ed (meaning: a lot of traffic to your connection that you cannot handle)

We were unfortunately caught in this as innocent bystander since the RunUO team has been a big part of our IRC community.

Ryan (lead RunUO dev) has thusfar decided to go to his own network, we simply don't have the resources yet to deal with this kind of attack.

I hope this explains it a bit
