Banned from IRC ?, read this

It might happen that you get banned from IRC, this may be due to a blacklisting system that we have and/or a proxy scanning bot. This keeps out the nasty clients we do not want on our network.

However the system is not perfect and it has it's weak points, so it can happen that you are banned while nothing is wrong..

Go over this first:

1. Scan your PC with a recent virusscanner (for example Free Antivirus for Windows - Open source GPL virus scanner, free and fairly good)
2. Follow the link that you got in the ban message, you can find it in your status window. At this link there should be an option to remove yourself from the open proxy list, once you've done this, try to reconnect to IRC in 60 minutes.
3. If the above fails, E-mail sabaoth@coldfront.net, mag@coldfront.net or frostbyghte@coldfront.net, we can see what's wrong then, make SURE to include a FULL copy/paste of your status window output. If we don't have this we cannot help you.
