Dunno mate, i wasn't there, I woulda been sleeping at the time.
I remember logging on not long after the guys won though and there were some pretty excited people on teamspeak.

Av, just like the last time you ran away we'll have to take a baldanders--> Acoma trip down memory lane.
Gal, the level 20 cap limit is an old discussion and doesn't matter a toss tbh. I currently have 3 level 20s with 550k to 1.15m experience and seeing as you reach level 20 at 142,000, assuming you levelled up every 20,000 xp my worst character would be this level 40 you've mentioned while my warrior would be level 70 (all figures are rounded and using very basic maths which may be refuted by any 3 year old with a calculator). The game mechanics have been established on level 20 as the maximum and should it be reviewed every skill/enemy would have to be reviewed with balance considerations in mind. The problem would then be that in order to get groups you would need to be level (insert ridiculously high number here) to group in fow/uw/tombs/thk/fire islands making it harder for the casual player to get into areas of the game. At times i think it'd be nice to be rewarded for the time put into game by seeing a larger number next to my characters level but the realist in me says that the majority of the experience earned was done so soloing which may have improved my general Guild Wars skill level but it did nothing to improve my ability to work as an effective member of the team, which at the end of the day is what we're hoping to find with high level characters.
