Hey guys just registered and though I'd say hello!
Name's Avril Cloud, I'm a Rank 5 Player, Play Monk and Necro mostly but can play anything but Ranger. Loving GW, NOT impressed by the factions weekend I am hoping Chapter 2 will make up for it. Av |

Hi Av, good to see your post; I'm Real another dedicated Guild Wars player (Rank 4 with 552 fame atm so just short of rank 5 but more PvE/GvG focussed than HoH)
I thought the factions weekend was pretty cool (but new content in a game i love is always good) and I'm enjoying the PvE Tombs but was similarly unimpressed by the character skills of the Assassin and ritualist. Now tbh i'm not sure whether this was due to the templates being poor (sort of reminded me of the original W/Mo template), some sort of bias toward the skills i'm comfortable with or that no-one playing an Assassin or a Ritualist knew what they were doing. The only thing I didn't like about the weekend was getting a wierd bug message in the international district of the PvE tombs and spending 12 hours trying to get back in. What didn't you like about the weekend? What are you hoping for with Chapter 2 to improve the game?

Def would like to see a better Hierarchy for the Guild List! Leader, Officer and Member is pritty boring and basic. I remember when I Lead a Guild I had this weird Aussie guy playing with me he was ok but wasn't really officer material you know? I then had to promote him and it went straight to his head!
Also would LOVE new GvG maps!

Av, Av, Av
For those of you who haven't figured it out already Av and I are good friends and have spent a fair amount of time in the same Guild(s). It started with him as leader and if I remember rightly Av your right hand man was a crazy Aussie by the name of.....Real. So not officer material hey mate? I'll have to remember that one, but regardless I thought I did ok and I do know that together we had great fun learning some aspects of the game. I happen to agree with the need for more dynamic Guild Lists, the game seems to have recently changed the status for Guild Members ie, if you set your status as away it now reports that in the Guild menu which was long overdue. It was a joke that a game called "Guild Wars" would have the Guild menu as the most lacking portion of the game and that with a friends list of only 50 names that you'd have to keep Guild mates on the list to know whether they were away/busy etc. I remember when Avril established the Acoma Bl Warriors [ABLW] we had a tight leadership structure of a leader, 3 Field Commanders (I was one of these & also the first member of that guild Good to see you've still got a sense of humour and are checking out the coldfront gw site. Now the challenge would be to get some of the other Acoma guys, or my brothers from Kai posting here too. Btw, new Guild maps will come out with Guild Wars Factions in the second quarter of 2006, but considering you and I wasted 3 hours considering the tactical advantanges/disadvantages and the suitability of builds to maps when choosing our last Guild Hall I hope there's not too many!
