Default Idea for Non-Ascenders

Hey been thinking that those that play forever to make it to a really high level should be commemorated somehow... How about giving them a trophy and auto ascending due to maybe old age? This of course should be offset by making it so hard to reach say maybe level 100 that defeating the NS would be alot easier. Also upon the ascension (old geezer method maybe?) they get an "old geezer" item that is pretty powerful and worthwhile having reached that high a level without ascending. Also maybe make a criteria that they have to have every quest done and maybe certain items aquired or amounts that a level 100 character should have at that point to ascend without facing the NS. The trophy could be called the hardcore non-ascender trophy and perhaps the skill chosen during ascension could also be used during hardcore ascensions as well. which leads me to another idea, if a person goes to 100 levels while on a hardcore ascension that could be even more beneficial to the player, sorta like oxegenarian is the uber ascension. Just some ideas, hope someone is watching and giving it some thought. Thanks for a great waste of time and a pleasant distraction.

Sounds like a great idea.
Yeah, people who get up to a really high level should get something, maybe a new area, where you can get heaps of stat boosts?

I was going to suggest a trophy for people who take HUGE amounts of damage, but then we get the crater at the beach. *SHUDDER*

Default New chat channel?

I've been playing for over a year now, and I have some friends who play to high levels, i think one small bonus for them could be a new chat channel for reaching a certian level, maybe a tatoo or something like that...

I love all the ideas you all have, but the thing is....before Ascension existed (about a year ago), everyone WAS high level. They all didn't like it, because, basically, the game gets boring once you've beaten everything. Ascension was the way of making the game go on and on forever.

Now, that being said, it's definitely worthwhile to have some sort of recognition for those willing to not ascend. Maybe reaching Level 100 does actually grant a trophy. Who knows? But do you really want to take the time to find out, while everyone else around you is ascending? I don't. But I'm also very impatient.

I, personally, think this would be a great idea, though maybe not level 100. That's just crazy. Then again...oh well, maybe that would go well with "expanding the Kingdom's horizons"... (see my DTT thread)

I am a once-ascended, (level-13 Sauceror) Level 5or6 Accordion Thief.

*Also* a level 8 turle tamer.

New news in the Kingdom. Apparently, a Level 99 player used an Ultimate wad (which automatically brings you to the next level), and although it said he gained a level, he still remained at level 99. Looks like Level 100 wasn't meant to be reached.

I'm not sure when this post was written the level thirty trophies were about but anyways... I'm thinking that if you get to level 100 (or some other ridiculously high level) you could either choose to ascend with your amazingly powerful new item or to keep on just leveling, which I know alot of people would like to do.
