How are the collections on the wiki item pages updated? I know they're not taken in real time from the jickenwings website.

I'm not positive, since it's not my part of the site, but I believe it updates each night through the RSS feed. If you go right to the Jicken Wings website, you can force it to update stats for yourself (if you're collecting items, I assume), so that the next time it updates, you'll be on the list.

Can't be. I saw a colletion a couple weeks ago on the Jickenwings website, but it still hasn't updated on the wiki.

Well, instead of just telling me I'm wrong, maybe it'd be more productive for you to provide a link to the collection you say hasn't updated?

I'm the maintaner of the Jicken Wings DCDB. The wiki data is updated from the DCDB via RSS feeds that are generated on a very regular basis (used to be once a week, but I think it's more regular than that now). This data should have been recent since a long time before you posted. As of now, the data looks correct, but if you see any other problems, please kmail my character, Fryguy9.

Something's funky with the Can of Ghuol-B-Gone™ (2565); the Wiki can't seem to pull the info from the DB. The item # and everything are okay, it just doesn't display any results. I'm wondering if it related to the '™' on the end. It could be an issue with the KOL wiki or the DB.

How does the KOL Wiki page work? Does it get everything from the DB, or does it get the player ID and the count from the DB and then generate the table on the fly? It's probably an issue with the table code crapping out on the special char.

Are there any other items with a special character at the end?

Sapper, can you recheck and see if there is still an issue here? I can work with it on our end and see if it's a problem with our scripts.

Nope, still not working. I flushed my cache and tried it in IE and Firefox.

It's obviously getting a query result, because instead of "RSS File not available", it's getting the "Collection data courtesy of ePeterso2 and Jicken Wings"

EDIT: Wiki syntax is correct, too. I'm thinking it's something in the Collection display handler. Probably something to do with the special characters, but without seeing the code, I dunno if it's in the DB query or the display render. Just guessing.
