Marketplace Suggestions

I've just created an account in the forums and am so glad that this was the first thread I came across. I registered with coldfront (a site I'm in love with) to try and see if I could:
1) filter the full list of marketplace items so say ~30 I view/track
2) maybe get a graph showing the weekly price trends of items

I know these points have been brought up before (to which I am glad that there are others like me who LOVE the marketplace) but I would really appreciate a filter tool, more than anything, that is maybe associated with your user account. I'm no computer expert and I hope this isn't an impossible request

We did implement a filter on the Full Item List recently, there's a search box at the top of the page. However, looking at it, I can't seem to get it to work, and I'm curious how long that's been going on for. Let me talk to the coder and find out what happened.

What I'd like to see is in addition to strong filters, a handful of 'category' views.

I'd love quick queries for (for example) all Mr Store items, all Semi-Rares, all Familiar Hatchlings, and so on.

On the Jick show a couple of weeks ago, Jick mentioned that you guys (Coldfront) might be amenable to suggestions for improving the marketplace system. Jick suggested letting you know, and that you might be willing to provide us a sample of the data you get, so that we can work on a prototype.

Is this something you would be up for? I was thinking that the mall data might be well-suited for something like RRDtool, and that it might be possible to generate graphs like you see for stocks, with an average price and a volume right below it. Another improvement could be "average price over last 24 hours" instead of "average price today".
