Question Kingdom of Loathing Map

What do you think of the idea, of a highly detailed Kingdom of Loathing map, not to be implemented in the game, but as a side-feature on the KoL Coldfront?

hmmmm... interesting prospect. I would think you could expand certain areas for your viewing pleasure.

It would be fun and probably helpful to have such a map at Coldfront. By now I already have it down in my head but as a newbie I probably would have loved it.

I'm not sure what is meant by this. Are you able to clarify? Do you just want a map like the mainpage of KoL, that is clickable to show you the different areas? We might be able to code something up like that, but I'm not sure. Lemme see what my elves can do

stupid thought, maybe a very detailed version (ornate, fancy and whatnot) as the background of the pages related to KoL. it could be made very subtle, and probably fixed in position so that stuff will scroll over it.

But you fool, to see all the detail without expansions, you would have to have a huge screen to see even HALF of it!!!

It's not a stupid thought if you mean it in a decorative, mood-setting sense rather than an official consulting map, probably very muted/faded. In that case it would be a very cool backdrop. Hrrmmmm... I think I might like something like that for my myspace page.

How about something like this, which was used in Crimbo Grotto's contest this past week? You mean this sort of manner, I suppose? (Except for the made-up areas, of course)
