Default Initializations errors???

Has anyone ever run into a "the application failed to initialize properly" window when trying to use the buillder? I cant seem to get the program running and dont know why. I'm running netframe 2.0, but 1.1 does the same thing. Any help on this one??

I'm getting an error every time I try to run it as well. It says "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)" Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Check the VERY large patch notes that I have added to the Version 1.7.6 update thread

I didn't see anything in those patch notes that would help. When I get the error it's when i try to run the program. I don't actually get into the program because of the error.

Ahhhh, I will make sure this issue gets to Sherk's eyes.

Question, do you run the program as a stand alone or do you have it "installed" on your drive?

What version of windows do you use?

When did you start using the program? Has it ever worked for you?

Did you install/change anything on your system recently (prior to the issue you are having)?

Have you tried RE-downloading the installer and RE-installing?

I have the program installed on my computer. I am using windows xp home. I started using the program after i6 and it has worked every since. I just added a new graphics card and processor, and yes I have tried RE-downloading and RE-installing it. I don't know why but it just doesn't wanna work. I put down the error message on an earlier post.

Any ETA on fixing the this problem? I downloaded the hero planner by the joechott fellow and it's just horrible. None of the powers are up to date, unless there is an update i'm missing, and some of the powers are even in the wrong order. Just wondering if this is on my end or has anyone got a fix for it yet.

Ok...I tried to install and run this hero builder program on my pc and my dad's...but no luck. We are both running windows xp sp2 with amd 64 bit processor. I then installed the builder on my mom's pc, which she is running just an amd 32 bit processor (as well as windows xp sp2) and IT WORKED. So...sounds like the culprit could be that the builder is not compatable with an amd 64 bit processor. Should this be the case, how long can I expect to see an update in the builder program to work with my processor?
