Default Update Problems

Whenever I "check for updates" using the builder...an error pops up saying it could not connect to the host site (or at least I'm assuming that's the host site). How can I correc this issue assuming massive updates will be coming now that I7 is active on Test.

Thanks

I was having the same issue, but then I did the following:

- Opened Creator
- Went to Setup
- Configuration
- Auto Update Tab
- Checked all of the top section of boxes
- Clicked Reset URL (it will show a different updater URL afterwards)
- Closed Creator
- Opened Creator

Worked perfectly (at least without the error) after that. Try it and lemme know

1) Do you have the most recent copy of the Creator?
2) Are you choosing to save your changes before closing the Creator?

Can you fix your Configuration screen to look like this?

I seem to get what CRUCIBLE have on his screenshot except I have Powers DB V1.0.97. The information for CoH and CoV is all pre I7. Is there anyway to fix this? I deleted, downloaded a setup file again and reinstalled and got the same problem.

Take a look at the picture above your post. You want your Auto Update Configuration window to look JUST like that one.

For some reason on mine, it had the right URL, but had a proxy defined (hostname for it was "webproxy"). And I never configured one. After I unchecked that, it worked great.
