I'm also having problems updating. Have checked the right boxes, but the Reset URL does nothing; it still displays the old url. I have v1.7.2.0. I have reinstalled it, turned off my firewall... nothing. Please help.

First thing you need to do is update to version 1.7.6.0!!

I PM'd you where to get it at. Here it is again:

Unhappy

Okay I'm a little confused. What is the correct URL supposed to be? First off I had an older version installed then I installed the 1.7.6.0 version. I also did everything previously posted about configuring the auto updater, Clicked the 4 boxes and I dont have the proxy button checked and this is the URL in the URL space "http://sherksilver.coldfront.net/public_ftp/Updates.xml" now if I click on reset URL like someone else said earlier in the forums then it changes to this "http://home.comcast.net/~SherkSilver/CoH_Updates/Updates.xml" so which of these is it supposed to be? because I get the second URL to come up but not to save? and yes I am clicking the save config and exit. but with the firs URL I get "Failed to read the config file at http://sherksilver.coldfront.net/public_ftp/Updates.xml" Does what I've said make any sense to anyone? I apologize I am not that good at explaining things.

Try it again, you may have been trying while I was updating.

The coldfront.net address is the correct one for updates.

Is your Firewall, windows firewall, anti-virus/invasion detection firewall or any other crappy Norton Internet "Security" program running. It is likely that this is your issue. The updates are there, and 99% of the users are getting the updates. So I would tend to look at your issues of getting to the updates.

I guess I did indeed try to update at the wrong time for I started the Hero Builder today and it did auto update like it's suppose to. Thank you for keeping this builder going Kay!

Yeah, for some strange reason random people were getting errors.

It seems to be working for everyone now
