Hi there Snipar,
Heres a quick rundown of my understanding of the warrior weapons and hopefully this will guide your template. If you're still unsure, I'm happy to digout some good templates for each weapon and post them. First off, Hammer is slow and damaging, so you need to make sure that the blows count. Most of the hammer skills are focused towards knockdown and the subsequent damage. Hammer is great for interupting spells and chasing down casters. My advice if you're looking into hammers is to checkout a lot of the knockdown combos. Skills like Hammerbash, Counterblow, and Earthshaker are very effective and if you use them in conjunction with an Elementalist using a skill like Aftershock, you will have some deadly damage.
Swords are less damaging but very quick. Swords are great for things like finishing moves and snaring. Hamstring is perhaps one of the best warrior skills which snares, and if you use Final Thrust on most characters when they are low health, you will get some ridiculous damage, also Galrath slash is a personal favourite of mine to just add a harsh hit in there. With swords you can also checkout savage slash which interupts a target. Swords will generally tearup characters will less armor.
Axes are somewhat moderating to swords and hammers. Not quite as damaging as the hammers but not quite as slow as them, they are a nice balance and i remember that most of the warriors in alpha used to use axes, I can't remember when that changed. Basically axes have a some great damage skills. Like you said, disrupting blow and executioners strike is a killer combination. If you are fighting other warrior heavy groups you will also want to consider penetrating blow which ignores armor. This will deal a tonna damage vs other warriors who have the high armor classes, but dont seem to take much melee damage.
Hope these descriptions help you out somewhat. Again if something isnt clear please let me know and I'll be happy to elaborate.
