Default Monk and Bipper questions

So i read a few of your all calls and really liked the ideas you came up with.

For the WPE I made a monk pretty much like the healing/divine you have in most of the all calls because it made every pickup team much better to have such massive healing. A few questions though.

Divine intervention-I had a lot of trouble with the timing on this one, I would cast it on someone close to death but then he would be healed by another monk and it was a wasted 10 energy, or worse would survive for 10 seconds and die when i didn't heal cause i thought intervention would save him. Any ideas on how to judge timing better.

I also started a BIP necro and really liked the horror/nova idea but couldn't get BIP down. Do you just cast it on every spellcaster or all chars in general? Also, what is the advantage of having both BIP and Blood ritual?

One last question. How do you get your rarer skills? Gambling is expensive and I didn't see any monsters who used shield of judgement or BIP.

Divine Intervention is a funny skill and requires alot of preperation to run. LotD is a tight knit group and has played with eachother for years. We know how eachother plays, and its just a unsaid rule that if someones extremely low on health, to slap a divine intervention on them and let them die. This is the only practical way I know of running with Divine Intervention, and it works extremely well.

Our BiPPer only uses bip on our 2 monks. The usual chain is Bip, minion, bip, self heal.

Bip is a short duration but high mana increase. Blood Ritual is long duration with moderate mana increase. Bip takes 80 health, I believe blood ritual takes 60.

Rarer skills are currently really difficult to get. LotD spent 13k gold at the exotic skills vendor getting BiP this weekend. A more efficient way of getting spells in will be implimented I'm sure.
