elementalist enchantment spells like Conjure Flame, Lightning or Frost, they do only deal extra damage when your attack already deals fire, lightning or cold damage?

cause last bwe (which was awesome :P ) my ranger/elementalist only dealt an additional 7 fire damage when i was using kindle arrow, a preperation as you sure know, already deals additional fire damage

has this been always like this, because i read of many builds using a conjure spell bot not dealing the required damage? got it nerfed? or am i totally wrong and it does deal the additional damage, whether you deal fire, cold or lightning damage or not?

I believe your original explination is correct, and in all likelyhood the spell did get nerfed, the dev team tweaks skills on almost a daily basis.

well this was the firste time i actually tried out a ranger/ ele, so i was pretty surprised when i did not work because i had read so many things about builds concentrating around that enchantment.
