How about this..
Alright.. there is always a consequence for every action.. but in Idle RPG its one sided...
Whoever starts the fight is who gets the effect, be it good or bad..
Example:
BillyBob [77/585] has come upon UsErX [378/398] and been defeated in combat! 0 days, 07:33:40 is added to BillyBob's clock.
Poison [109/519] has challenged Malard [199/355] in combat and lost! 0 days, 13:41:19 is added to Poison's clock.
Flash [222/269] has challenged Grosvenor [83/467] in combat and won! 0 days, 01:10:10 is removed from Flash's clock.
ETC ETC..
Now, lets take the first example .. Since UsErX won the battle, shouldn't he get a bonus for winning? And in the last example, shouldn't Groswenor feel the shame for losing in combat?
Even if the total time has to be split evenly amongst the two people (or more in team battles) then so be it.. I'd rather get every bonus as much as possible.. and rather see everyone else suffer as much as possible (in the game that is :P)..
Oh yeah, and how about some more statistics on the website? Just small queries like, when viewing a profile of someone.. show how many team battles they've participated in (and how many won/lost).. or how about who they've fought against and whiether they've won or not.. and how many times they've fought against that person?
I can go on and on.. but I think you get the general jist..
