Hello there!!

Sherk has been finding himself busier and busier of late. Sooooo, I have been doing nearly ALL of the data updates for about the last 2+ months.

I do the updates myself, and then send the updated databases along to him. Then Sherk uploads the updates for everyone to get the latest data

You will continue to notice small updates on at least (I try!) a weekly basis.

Basically, I do my own tests, get info PM/e-mailed to me in-game (@Kay Moonpetal, or e-mail Kay Moonpetal) and troll the CoH boards HEAVILY (mostly the red named posts and "reliable" testers data). I also receive a LOT of data/requests via the CoH boards.

Recently I have changed/updated the following data/powersets over the last several months:

Brute>Electric Melee (Thanks to LaEstrella)
Brute>Electric Armor
Stalker>Dark Armor
Mastermind>Thugs (Pistol BI's based on Prima numbers)
Blaster>Electricity Manipulation
Blaster>Fire Manipulation>Fire Sword
Blaster>Ice Manipulation>Frozen Fists
Blaster>Energy Manipulation (just updated today)
(BI's were not tested, only copied from Tanker melee sets for ALL of the Blaster secondary melee attacks)
ALL Armor Values for PPP’s (these will need to be tested and adjusted as the Prima Guide did NOT use the AT Modifiers)


Fixed a bug in all Scrapper powers named Slash (incorrect data was displaying for Claws, was using BS data, I "fixed" it!!) NOTE: This fix MAY cause some saved Broadsword Scrapper builds to produce errors, just "rebuild" and resave to avoid the little pop-up errors.

BIG thanks to KayConstantine for helping start updating the Blaster Secondary BI's!!

In Late May/Early June I did a MAJOR update to pool powers thanks to some defensive % testing in anticipation of the Issue 7 buffs (mainly due to SR testing). This testing uncovered a long held suspicion that Pool defensive powers (i.e. Tough, Weave, CJ etc. etc. listed below) follow the AT Modifiers.
Also, thanks to _Castle_, the BASE values for some Defensive Armors (listed below) were updated.

Pool powers updated:
Concealment>Stealth
Fighting>Tough
Fighting>Weave
Flight>Hover
Leadership>Maneuvers
Leadership>Assault
Leadership>Tactics
Leaping>Combat Jumping

Defensive powers:
Brute/Tanker>Stone Armor>Rock Armor
Brute/Tanker>Stone Armor>Minerals
Brute/Tanker>Stone Armor>Crystal Armor
Brute/Scrapper/Tanker>Invulnerability>Invincibility (data from _Castle_)
Brute/Stalker>Energy Aura>Kinetic Shield
Brute/Stalker>Energy Aura>Power Shield
Brute>Energy Aura>Energy Cloak
Brute/Scrapper>Dark Armor> Cloak of Darkness
Warshade>Umbral Aura>Shadow Cloak

ALL Build Up and Aim powers have been updated using the AT Modifier chart and a post from _Castle_ displaying the BASE value for these powers (Interesting to note that Build Up value is the SAME as the Buff from Rage)


During the level bump that was given on the Test Sever, I did some very brief testing. There were some VERY wrong values and some MAJOR typos and wrong power descriptions (Trick Arrow was really bad)

When typos and misnamed powers are found, many previously saved builds may generate errors. The reason for this is, when your hero/villain was saved, it had a previously unknown wrong name/spelling. When your database is updated, those old power named are overwritten. Then, when the program is launched again (really bad if you have your previously viewed hero/villain set to auto load upon restart), when your saved file is loaded again, it will still have the bad/old power name in it, but it will no longer be in the database, THUS generating errors!! To fix this, you will have to scrap that saved file and start over (I know it sucks, but I don’t know how to fix this, I am not a programmer, just a freelance datawhore.)

There was a MAJOR updating of nearly ALL of the Warshade powers with ALL thanks going to Earthstorm_ for this!

Fixed some data for Defender EPP powers (lost the note that listed them all)

Minor update to fix the Recovery Rate for Stamina and QR as reported by _Castle_

I would like to thank EVERYONE that has and continues to help me get this thing accurate and up-to-date!!

However, I still need your help!! With what you may ask? Here is a very short and very incomplete list:

ALL Mastermind Buff/Debuff values need to be adjusted using the AT Modifier chart where applicable.
Finish updating the Blaster Secondary BI’s
Cleaned up Mastermind BI’s for Pets and Attacks (most of the data was copied from “shared” powersets)
Toggle Costs!!! Nearly ALL of the Toggles need to be retested thanks to the new data on Stamina/QR that was given. I don’t trust ALL of the numbers from the Prima Guide, and I am no good at testing toggle costs.
Typo/Errors. When I do long updating sessions, I make a few data mistakes the longer I stare at my screen. While I may have the correct data in front of me, it still gets put in incorrectly.
Stalker>Dark Armor>Base Resists for all Armors (Prima shows a few values higher for Stalkers vs. Brutes/Scrappers)
Sonic Blast>All Attacks BI’s (Some of the powers have an Energy AND Smashing damage in them, but only show an Energy value)
Peacebringer Powers!
Defender>Controller>Corruptor>Mastermind Buff/Debuff values need to be checked/corrected.
Many powers show incorrect enhancements available to powers.
Dominator Assault power BI’s and Dominator Control Hold Durations
