I'm not great with the tech side i'm afraid (not too bad with the game side) but this sounds like an issue for NC Soft Support.
I'd head to Guild Wars Support (
http://www.guildwars.com/support/) and let them know by lodging a ticket and filling out all the computer specs they may need....they'll amil you back within 24 hours with advice or questions that they'll need answered to help (i had a few issues last year and they always messaged back).
