I’m anticipating Pirates of the Burning Sea more then you because, frankly, I’m bored. You see, I’m the housecat here, and there’s limited access to diversion for me. I have the requisite fuzzy mice, and catnip toys, and lovely furniture for shredding and sleeping, but it only goes so far to amuse. My Person does something with marketing and is gone at times for days. Thanks to a library of books she inherited from her uncle ( which she kept because she feels they make the house look “intellectual”) I now have a good understanding of many subjects that would usually be outside of a feline’s point of perspective, including pirates. Another great boredom killer of mine is the internet. Never mind that I could be a millionaire by now off of Ebay, if only I had opposable thumbs to mail off auctioned items ( I still haven’t figured this one out yet, when I do I may buy my own apartment) one thing I can do online is surf promising new games. PotBS piqued my interest immediately! Imagine! If there’s one thing a cat was meant to be , it’s a pirate. Just think, we have an inherent drive for adventure, a very strong romantic streak, and never have we shied from making anyone “walk the gangplank” so to speak. Casually cruel, yet charismatically charming- the same could be said for Pirates as well as Felines. I feel that if I could get my paws on a Beta Key, I could rule the virtual seas as a rogue and a swashbuckler, never worrying about getting my feet wet! (Certainly the only drawback to being an actual Pirate that I could foresee)
Please, “MySpace” isn’t holding the fascination that it once did for me… I am a captive audience with a penchant for Piracy, and paws that are itching to play! Purrr! I mean.. YARRRRR!
