Real's build is good. I've seen it in action and it works really well.
At the moment I use a heal /prot mixed build with the following skills in GVG as a N/Mo using OOB for my elite and energy management. It's not what you'd call amazing but in a team of 2 or 3 monks it works well for me and my guild. I used to have a PVE monk but got rid of him so now as I have all skills unlocked I generally just roll one for PVP when required.
Orison of Healing
Dwayna's Kiss
Protective spirit
Aegis
Mend ailment (nice spammable condition removal spell)
Remove Hex
Healing Breeze
OOB (E)
16 in healing (1+3)
10 prot (9+1)
3 in blood
and the remainder in divine with a +1 rune.
I only really take breeze for myself when I'm being attacked by 1 or 2 warriors and then I use the mend conditions and orison on myself. So far I find it takes 3 warriors really going for it to take me down (as long as there isn't a mesmer around to shut me down..bloody mesmers).
Really IMO when it comes to monking it's down to what you feel works for you, the build you are in and the general builds you will meet. The above is multi purpose for me with the only problem being when I try to counter good co-ordinated ranger spike damage. I added aegis to the build for this reason in the hope that the target would avoid the majority of spikes allowing my healing to be more use. So far so good really.
I'm not one of these uber experts and I know many monks out there who make me look very bad but this build is working for me and my guild at the moment in GVG.
