Av, Av, Av
For those of you who haven't figured it out already Av and I are good friends and have spent a fair amount of time in the same Guild(s). It started with him as leader and if I remember rightly Av your right hand man was a crazy Aussie by the name of.....Real.
So not officer material hey mate? I'll have to remember that one, but regardless I thought I did ok and I do know that together we had great fun learning some aspects of the game.
I happen to agree with the need for more dynamic Guild Lists, the game seems to have recently changed the status for Guild Members ie, if you set your status as away it now reports that in the Guild menu which was long overdue. It was a joke that a game called "Guild Wars" would have the Guild menu as the most lacking portion of the game and that with a friends list of only 50 names that you'd have to keep Guild mates on the list to know whether they were away/busy etc.
I remember when Avril established the Acoma Bl Warriors [ABLW] we had a tight leadership structure of a leader, 3 Field Commanders (I was one of these & also the first member of that guild

), a head of each profession, Captains, Officers and Members which didn't work too badly given the size of the Guild. The only problem was that there was no way of recording this in game, and while it was well demonstrated within our Guild forum and Website it didn't make sense to me that a Guild based game didn't come pre-built with customisable guild features.
Good to see you've still got a sense of humour and are checking out the coldfront gw site. Now the challenge would be to get some of the other Acoma guys, or my brothers from Kai posting here too.
Btw, new Guild maps will come out with Guild Wars Factions in the second quarter of 2006, but considering you and I wasted 3 hours considering the tactical advantanges/disadvantages and the suitability of builds to maps when choosing our last Guild Hall I hope there's not too many!
