Nyhtime,
The link showed a reasonably simple heal build that takes a balanced approach between active mini heals and large spike heals.
I wouldn't recommend it for GvG although it would give you the basic set up from where you can arrange a build of your own.
Most Monks playing in Team Arenas at the moment tend to favour divine boon as an enchantment and tend to run more of a divine/protection/heal build than just heal.
The build works well in PvE (gets a little boring doing nothing but spike heals though so the small 5 mana heals come in handy to make sure you're still awake) and i used something very similar to solo heal Hells Precipice, Abaddons Mouth and Defend Droknars (although the Defend one was a bit on the challenging side).
I've also used most of those skills in HoH and GvG so if you're new to PvP Monking I'd suggest mucking about with it and testing out the skills.
My standard build has minor prot and divine runes, superior healing and scalp (+3+1) and a major vigor on my PvE Monk. To compensate for the health loss of the Superior I use Brohn's Staff and find the +60 health modifier handy to get to 506 health.
The skills I dont leave home without are Offering of Blood [E] (i run this to get 15 energy from the 5 to cast it), orison (probably the most useful skill in game and a handy small/self heal), dwaynas kiss, heal party and res (either hard or soft depending on needs). From those 5 skills i change the other 3 as required and allow for flexibility.
Give your build a go and let us know how it works for you, if you need a hand post here or give me a buzz in game (igns in sig)
